Bagan is the most revered place for the people of Myanmar (the "head of the house"). Artists from every era have painted images of Bagan, our nation's most sacred place. These paintings capture the historical landscapes of Bagan, including the stupas, temples, and religious buildings, as well as the stucco art and murals created and installed within them. Many artists have drawn these scenes, expressing their deep feeling and appreciation through their own unique perspectives and viewpoints.

As Bagan is the most significant heritage site for the people of Myanmar, taking photographs or painting its images and then displaying these images in public areas is a part of the process of heritage conservation. It signifies the act of informing and passing on the knowledge of the heritage site's existence and location to the future generations.
