This Week … Two new Myanmar movies (Leik Pyar Khwe Chain and New Awlan) and one new international movie (The Raja Saab) have premiered at Mingalar Cinemas this week. Popular movies that are currently showing will also continue their screenings.

‘Leik Pyar Khwe Chain’ is a film adaptation of the famous novel "Phyay Yan Kyan Thaw Set Htone Myar" by author Julia Myint Thein. The script is written by Moe Ni Lwin, and it is directed by Mee Pwar. The main cast includes A Linn Yaung, Yair Yint Aung, Khin Wint Wah, Phoo Sone, May Toe Khine, Phone Thiri Kyaw, Than Thar Nyi, and Soe Moe Kyi.

‘New Awlan’ is a comedy movie perfect for watching with friends to enjoy a good laugh. It stars Tyron, Nay Win, Soe Myat Thuzar, Chue Lay, Naw Phaw Eh Htar, and Khin Hlaing in leading roles. The film is directed by Ko Zaw (Ar Yone Oo), with a story by Min Ko Soe (Nat Than Kwin) and script adaptation by Thet Oo Maung.

‘The Raja Saab’ follows a young heir who must navigate a complex world of power and tradition. During his tenure managing his ancestral mansion, he encounters strange and supernatural events... making this a movie that blends comedy with horror.
