The editorial team of "Heart Garden" (နှလုံးသားပျိုးခင်း) has announced on their Facebook page that they will honorarium one selected short story with Three Hundred Thousand Kyats (K300,000).

The selected short story will be featured twice a month, with one short story chosen for publication in each selection. The "Heart Garden" short story section was launched in September 2025, and seven (7) of the best hand-picked short stories have already been featured on their Facebook page.

Submission Guidelines

To enter the short story competition, participants must adhere to the following rules:

• The manuscript must be an original work written by the author. (Translations are not accepted).

• The manuscript must not have been submitted or published in any other magazine or publication.

• Use the Pyidaungsu Font (size 12) and the story must not exceed four (4) A4 pages. (This targets approximately 3,000 words, and slight variations in length will be considered).

• Submissions must be sent to [email protected] and include the following:

o Pen name

o Real name

o Phone number

The editorial team has announced that since they will be selecting and featuring short stories monthly, there is no set closing date. Manuscripts can be submitted at the writers' convenience.
