MY Yangon Guide pleased to share some good news: an upcoming free seminar is designed to empower women to lead and forge new paths in the field of filmmaking.

This seminar is organized by AES Myanmar – Creative Media Institute. We will have an enthusiastic discussion and sharing session on the role of women in the film industry, the challenges ahead, creative freedom, and the path to success.

The speaker leading the seminar is Director and Novelist, Ma Khit Shay Nyo (Khit Shay Nyo). Ma Khit Shay Nyo is the director of the film "U Au Whut Dae Tan Khu" (ဥဩဝှတ်တဲ့တန်ခူး), the author of the novel Nar Thu (နရသူ), a director who has shot numerous music videos, and the creator of "My Name is Walkie Talkie," which won the first prize in the social awareness campaign "Together for Equality & Diversity."

At this exciting seminar, you will have the opportunity to learn about Ma Khit Shay Nyo's experiences as a director and how She Directed Her Way by leading and pioneering her own path. You will also have the chance to directly ask her any questions you have about the Film Industry.
