As one of the oldest zoos in Southeast Asia, Yangon Zoo is reaching a historic milestone of 120 years! Established in 1906, it has stood the test of time, carrying over a century of heritage and memories.

To honor this significant historical anniversary, a grand festival will be held with great excitement at Yangon Zoo from January 31st to February 4th, 2026.

Event Highlights:

• January 31st: The Grand Opening Ceremony.
• February 1st – 4th: A vibrant festival featuring a bazaar, live music, dance performances, magic shows, and educational talk shows for children, along with various other entertainment programs.
